Dozens of Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with what is so-called Yom Kippur, and provocatively performed Talmudic rituals, on Wednesday morning, October 5, 2022.
Local sources reported that at least 145 Israeli settlers invaded the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals.
Earlier Wednesday, groups of Israeli settlers mobilized at the Al-Buraq wall and performed provocative rituals.
In addition, Israeli occupation forces broke into the Al-Qibli hall prayer in an attempt to facilitate the settlers’ incursions.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces closed the entrances and roads of Jerusalem, imposing tight restrictions on Palestinians wishing to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A Palestinian young woman was reportedly detained by Israeli occupation forces earlier Wednesday at Bab Al-Asbat gate, one of Al-Aqsa`s gates after being denied access to the Mosque.
