Dozens of colonial Israeli settlers invaded on Thursday, December 8, 2022, Al-Aqsa Mosque from Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces, amid calls from Jerusalemites to participate in the great dawn tomorrow, Friday.
In the early morning Israeli occupation forces opened the Mughrabi Gate, deployed soldiers in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and at its gates, to secure the settlers’ invasions.
The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem stated that dozens of colonial Israeli settlers invaded Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
Israel occupation forces continued to restrict the entry of worshipers from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of Al-Aqsa, checked the identities of some of them, detained them, and prevented Palestinian worshippers from entering the Mosque.
Palestinian calls continued, for the need to gather widely and bind to Al-Aqsa Mosque during the coming days, and to participate in the great dawn prayer there, tomorrow, Friday, in light of the settlers’ intention to increase their invasions into the mosque and revive their Jewish holidays.
It is expected that Al-Aqsa will witness more Israeli violations, under the far-right government, which will work to Judaize it, coinciding with the Hebrew so-called “Hanukah” holiday.
The calls emphasized the importance of delivering a message to the Israeli occupation of the absolute Palestinian right to Al-Aqsa, and not allowing it to be violated by the colonial Israeli settlers and the occupation forces.
Every day, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of colonial Israeli settler invasions, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it, while the pace of invasions escalates during Jewish holidays, and includes attacks on worshipers, stationed people, and deportations from the mosque.
