Dozens of unarmed Palestinian protesters were reported injured as Israeli occupation forces IOF attacked the weekly marches in Qalqilya and Nablus.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, at least 35 injuries were reported injured with rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas as Israeli occupation forces suppressed Palestinian anti-settlement marches in Nablus and Qalqilya.
Local sources reported that a female Palestinian journalist was wounded by a gas bomb in the foot. Moreover, a number of Palestinians suffocated by tears gas in Jabal Subaih, Nablus.
Dozens of Palestinians performed Friday prayers near Jabal Sabih as part of the peaceful activities weekly held in protest of the settlement expansion in the area.
In a related incident, local sources said that 8 civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets after the Israeli occupation forces attacked the participants in the weekly march in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, which took place after Friday prayers.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the Palestinians organize marches against the settlement expansion in a number of villages and towns in the West Bank. Meanwhile, recent reports have revealed that about 199 settlements and 220 settlement outposts are built currently on the Palestinian-owned lands in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
