Calls for Intensifying Palestinian Presence at Aqsa Mosque

The appeal called on Palestinians in the West Bank and within the Green Line to head to Occupied Jerusalem and perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa.

This came a few days after Jewish settlers carried out a provocative flag march in Occupied Jerusalem’s Old City.

Weeks of protests and raids by Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa escalated into widespread clashes across the occupied Palestinian territories.

Despite fears of matters escalating on the ground, Palestinians have said that their continued presence at Al-Aqsa is imperative.
