Days of Palestine – Qalqilya
Israeli occupation forces killed Saturday night a Palestinian young man with live bullets in Qaliqilya, the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the ex-prisoner, Yahya Ali Odwan, 27, had died of his injury, as a result of being shot by the occupation army during clashes in the town of Azzun, Qalqilya.
In a brief statement, the Ministry of Health stated that the young man, Badwan, was shot in the heart, during confrontations that erupted, after the occupation forces stormed the town, and he was taken to the hospital, but the medical staff was unable to save his life.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 10 young men at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said that the young men were on their way back from prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a continued criminal scenario, the Israeli gunboats targeted fishermen’s boats off the shores of Rafah Governorate, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sources said that the Israeli navy heavily opened fire at the fishermen’s boats in the Rafah Sea, forcing them to leave the sea, but no injuries were reported.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation deliberately on a daily basis harassed the fishermen and deprived them of securing their livelihood in peace and security.
