S.K | DOP -

Large Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided Friday morning, April 28, 2023, the occupied Jenin camp, intensively opened live fire and injured Palestinian citizens, including a child.

Ibn Sina Hospital reported today that a Palestinian child was injured by shrapnel in both his hand and back, as a result of the occupation forces’ raid into occupied Jenin camp.

According to local sources, more than 30 Israeli military vehicles entered the “Salem” checkpoint and headed towards the occupied Jenin camp, cut off the electricity, fired bombs that shook the camp, and impeded ambulances’ access to the camp by shooting at it.

For its part, the Israeli Occupation Radio alleged that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire during an exchange of fire in Jenin, while another Palestinian was arrested, while the Israeli (Channel 13) claimed that special Israeli forces stormed Jenin to thwart the attempts of an armed Palestinian group intending to carry out an operation.

For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.

According to data collected by Days of Palestine DOP, Israeli occupation forces and settlers murdered 27 Palestinians, including four children in March, mostly in the West Bank.

The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers so far in 2023 has reached 91, including about 16 children.
