The Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza uncovered on Thursday the deliberate killings by Israeli forces within the confines of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, resulting in the deaths of 13 patients in the past hours.
In a press release issued today, the media office outlined how Israeli occupation forces obstructed critical care for patients in the intensive care units, where approximately 22 individuals urgently required medical attention, including vital medication, sustenance, equipment, treatments, and oxygen.
Tragically, it was reported that four patients reliant on ventilators in the intensive care units have tragically succumbed to their conditions.
Israeli forces went as far as severing electricity to the patients, leading to the cessation of oxygen supply, a move condemned as intentional and tantamount to murder.
Additionally, medical personnel, including doctors and nurses, were arrested and forcibly removed from wards, preventing them from administering lifesaving aid.
The dire situation within the Al-Shifa Medical Complex was highlighted, with reports of untreated wounds festering due to the lack of essential supplies, medical staff, and facilities.
Furthermore, Israeli forces barred access to pharmacies and medical supplies, exacerbating the already dire circumstances.
The media office unequivocally denounced these actions by the Israeli occupation as blatant violations of international law and human rights protocols, accusing them of systematic genocide and heinous crimes against humanity.
The complicity of the American administration and certain European and Western nations in these atrocities was strongly condemned, with calls for immediate action to halt these ongoing massacres.
The responsibility for these atrocities was squarely placed on the shoulders of the American administration, the international community, and the Israeli forces.
International organizations and nations were urged to condemn these flagrant violations of human rights and international law, while pressure was demanded to end the genocide, hunger warfare, and targeted attacks against the Palestinian population, particularly civilians, children, and women.
