Gaza registered 88new infections from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip on Friday, reported the heath ministry in Gaza.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 1719 confirmed cases, including 13 deaths, and 156 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 1550.
The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
