DaysofPal- Hamas condemned Israel’s continued attacks across the Gaza Strip, saying the Israeli genocide is claiming the lives of more civilians every day, including women, children, and entire families.
The statement came after an Israeli airstrike on the home of the al-Masri family near the al-Samer area in Gaza City killed six Palestinians, including a father, mother, and their four children. In a separate attack, an Israeli strike on a civilian vehicle at the entrance to the town of al-Zahraa, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp, killed two more Palestinians.
Hamas said the attacks reflect Israel’s continued policy of targeting civilians and constitute a persistent violation of the ceasefire agreement reached in Sharm el-Sheikh under international sponsorship.
The movement said the ongoing bombardment of residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, coupled with the deepening humanitarian catastrophe caused by Israel’s blockade, amounts to grave violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
Hamas also criticized what it described as the international community’s failure to take effective action to stop the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people or hold Israel accountable for its continued crimes.
The movement called on Arab and Islamic countries to take urgent and practical steps to halt the Israeli attacks and urged the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to fulfill its legal and humanitarian responsibilities by acting to end the aggression and ensure accountability for Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
