DaysofPal- Guinness World Records has decided to boycott the Israeli occupation and cease all cooperation, according to Western media reports, marking a significant new step in Israel’s growing international isolation amid its ongoing war on Gaza.
Reports indicate that an Israeli volunteer organization called “Gift of Life”, which promotes kidney donations, had recently applied to Guinness to register what it described as a world record: 2,000 Israelis donating a kidney to save the lives of others.
The group sought official recognition and even organized a large gathering in Jerusalem in an attempt to document the milestone.
However, after years of preparation and the payment of several hundred dollars in registration fees, the organization was shocked to discover that Guinness had stopped processing all submissions from the Israeli occupation.
The Israeli Channel 12 reported that the group received an official email stating:
“We are not currently accepting record submissions from Israel.”
The sudden rejection left the organization scrambling for an explanation. Despite repeated attempts to obtain clarification or reverse the decision, no response has been provided, the report said.
Racheli Haber, head of the “Gift of Life” organization, condemned the move, calling Guinness’ refusal to recognize the claimed Israeli achievement “unacceptable.”
The decision comes amid a widening global boycott of the Israeli occupation over its two-year-long genocidal war in Gaza, affecting academic, cultural, political, artistic, and sports sectors worldwide.
