DaysofPal-Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and settlers carried out 2,144 attacks across the occupied West Bank during November, according to a monthly report released by the Palestinian Authority’s Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
The report documented 1,523 attacks by Israeli forces and 621 attacks carried out by settlers, reflecting a significant escalation in violence.
Most assaults were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah (360), Hebron (348), Bethlehem (342), and Nablus (334), the commission said.
The attacks included physical assaults, uprooting of trees, torching of agricultural fields, preventing farmers, especially olive harvesters, from accessing their land, confiscation of private property, and demolition of homes and agricultural structures.
The commission stressed that the growing pattern of violence “is not a series of isolated incidents, but a systematic policy aimed at emptying the land of its owners and imposing a fully integrated colonial apartheid regime.”
According to the report, settler attacks, often carried out with military protection, resulted in the uprooting, destruction, or poisoning of 1,986 trees, including 466 olive trees.
Settlers also attempted to establish 19 new outposts during the month, a move the commission said reflects “explicit political authorization from Israeli leadership to impose new facts on the ground and further fragment Palestinian territory.”
The report revealed that the Israeli occupation seized 2,800 dunams of Palestinian land through military seizure orders, expropriation measures, and boundary adjustments to designate more areas as “state land.”
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out 46 demolitions, destroying 76 structures, and issued 51 demolition notices targeting additional Palestinian homes and facilities, part of an ongoing campaign to restrict Palestinian construction and natural population growth.
The commission added that Israeli planning bodies reviewed 23 zoning and structural plans during November: 19 for West Bank settlements and 4 for settlements within the expanded municipal borders of occupied Jerusalem.
These escalations come amid a surge in Israeli military and settler violence across the West Bank and Jerusalem, coinciding with the Israeli genocide in Gaza that began on October 8, 2023, and has continued for two years.
