Israeli warplanes carried out late on Sunday night several airstrikes on resistance sites and facilities in the Gaza Strip.
The warplanes fired tens of missiles at several posts in the south and north of Gaza Strip causing fire and damage to the post and nearby property, local sources said.
Israel claims the attacks came after a projectile was fired yesterday from Gaza into southern Israel, which fell in open space and did not cause any damage or injuries.
The firing of the projectile apparently came after the heinous crime of the Israeli occupation army murdered a Palestinian young man and wounded another in Gaza before sending a bulldozer to ram the body of the martyr and hold it near the Gaza border with Israel.
The Ministry of Health reported that 4 injures reached Al-Shifa Medical Complex following the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip last night.
Meanwhile, Two Islamic Jihad fighters have been killed in an Israeli air attack on Damascus, the armed group has said, as Israel confirmed the raid on the Syrian capital.
A statement from Islamic Jihad's armed wing on Monday said the two men, who were members of the group, were killed during the "Zionist bombing in Damascus," which took place late on Sunday night.
Earlier, Israel said it launched the attack south of Damascus following rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
"In the Adeliyah region, outside of Damascus, an Islamic Jihad compound was struck, used as a hub of Islamic Jihad's activity in Syria," it added, while confirming several other attacks in Gaza.
