Days Of Palestine – West Bank
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Friday overnight at least four Palestinians from the West Bank districts of Tulkarem and Bethlehem, confirmed local sources.
IOF carried out a raid into Bal'a, a town to the northeast of Tulkarem city, where they detained two Palestinians after ransacking their houses.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military raid was conducted in Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem city, resulting in the detention of two others.
During the raid, Israeli soldiers thoroughly searched a refugee’s house, and seized cash and jewelry.
Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians — including numerous women and children — are currently suffering in Israeli jails.
