Jewish settler groups on Thursday appropriated a Palestinian-owned agricultural tract of land in al-Makhror area in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
According to local official Hasan Berijiya, notorious settler societies seized four dunums of Palestinian-owned land in Beit Jala and deployed barbed wire around them.
The settler societies also started to place mobile homes on the usurped land.
Since the occupation of Palestine many years ago and up to this day, the Israeli occupation authority has been waging a quiet land war against the indigenous Palestinian population.
This land war aims to systematically dispossess the Palestinians of their property, displace them from their land, replace them with Jews and turn the Palestinians into a people without land.
