Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported that cancer-stricken Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jail, Nasser Abu Hmeid, was transferred to Assaf Harofeh hospital following a serious deterioration in his health.
PPS said that Abu Hmeid’s immune system has sharply deteriorated, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital.
Nasser Abu Hmeid, 49, from Amari refugee camp in Ramallah who has been in jail since 2002 and serving seven life terms plus 50 years for his resistance of the Israeli occupation, is suffering from lung cancer.
