6 Palestinian detainees, serving different sentences in Israeli prisons, entered on Saturday, November 19, new years of detention in Israeli prisons.
Raed Masalmah, 46, entered today his 8th consecutive year in Israeli prisons. Masalmah, a resident of Hebron, was detained on November 19, 2015, and sentenced to life imprisonment three times.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Mohammed Al-Horoub, serving a 3-life imprisonment sentence, entered on Saturday his 8th day in a row in Israeli prisons.
In addition, Mahdi Ramadan, 39, entered his 21st year in Israeli prisons. Mahdi is a resident of Bethlehem, and he is sentenced to 27 years in prison.
Mohammed Qashou, sentenced to 6 life imprisonment and 20 years, entered his 18th year in prison as he was detained in 2005.
Furthermore, Allam Melhim, 43, and Mohammed Salah, 42, entered their 19th year of detention. They were both arrested on this day in 2004.
4700 Palestinian prisoners, including 30 women and 190 minors, are currently held in Israeli prisons under poor conditions.
