At least 49 Palestinians were reportedly killed and dozens injured by deadly Israeli airstrikes targeting Palestinian houses in Rafah and Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli airstrikes bombed the Abu Eiada residential building near Al-Salam Mosque in Rafah and the Al-Lamdani house in Khan Younis without prior warning, mercilessly killing at least nine Palestinians in Rafah and over 40 in Khan Younis and wounding many dozens.
The number of corps has risen from minute to minute, but the toll of death is still unclear, although Civil Defense teams are still working to pull out as many dead bodies as they can from the two places.
The victims in Khan Younis are all displaced people from the north of Gaza, who fled their houses just two days ago despite that they fell in line to the Israeli occupation demanding that Gaza people living in the north of the Gaza Strip should take refuge in the south.
Another Israeli massacre has just taken place in Al-Saleeb Street in the Middle of Khan Younis against another civilian house, claiming the lives of dozens inside. In Tal Al-Sultan neighbourhood in Rafah, Civil Defence teams rushed to the place to rescue the bodies of killed people whose house has just been devastated by Israeli airstike.
On Sunday, October 15th, 2023, the Israeli occupation ordered to evacuate the Kuwaiti Hospital, in the south of the Gaza Strip as a prelude to its demolition. Israel’s threat to evacuate the Kuwaiti hospital proves the falsehood of Israel’s claims regarding Gaza citizens’ displacement towards the south.
For the 11th consecutive day, the Israeli military has been carrying out relentless and devastating airstrikes targeting the homes of Palestinian civilians, as well as residential, educational, governmental, and medical structures, resulting in a substantial loss of civilian lives.
The Israeli airstrikes have killed more than 2600 Palestinian civilians, with 10000 wounded, 60% of whom were women and children.
