The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs reported that the Palestinian detainee, Kanaan Kanaan, who has been on hunger strike for 17 days, has been suffering from vomiting accompanied by blood and a noticeable decrease in weight.

It added that the Palestinian detainees in the israeli “Nafha” prison decided to refuse to eat the two meals provided to them, in support of the Palestinian detainees on hunger strike.

On Sunday, 20 Palestinian detainees joined the 30 hunger striking detainees who are continuing their hunger strike for the seventeenth day, as a support for them, and a rejection of the Israeli administrative detention policy, in addition to their continuing boycott of the occupation courts at various levels.

Regarding the 20 prisoners who joined the strike, the commission said, “Among them are 10 detainees in the Negev prison, and 10 others in Ofer, including 5 administrative detainees.”

It’s noteworthy that the number of Palestinian administrative detainees is 780, including at least 6 minors and two female detainees, and the largest number of them are in the Negev and Ofer prisons.
