The Israeli occupation committed today Tuseday, July 16th, two brutal massacres in Al-Nuseirate and Khan Younis, according to Gaza media office.
The first attack hit at Al-Razi UNRWA School in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp has killed at least 23 and injured 73.
The second took place in the Al-Attar area of Khan Younis, killing 17 and injuring 26. Both massacres included children and women among the casualties.
This brings the number of massacres carried out concurrently by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza this afternoon to three.
Casualties continued to flood into Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital following an Israeli airstrike that targeted displaced Palestinians sheltering at an UNRWA school in Al-Nuseirat.
The attack on Al-Nuseirate school claimed the life of Palestinian journalist Mohammed Mishmish, bringing the number of journalists killed by Israel in the past 9 months to 160.
Nearly 70% of its schools in Gaza have been targeted since the start of the Israeli war, according to today’s UNRWA statement, with 95% of these schools being used as shelters when the Israeli army attacked them.
In the past three days, Israel has killed more than 100 Palestinians in attacks targeting UNRWA-run schools across Gaza, committing one massacre after another against innocent Palestinians who sought shelter in these schools designated as “safe zones” by Israel.
Another Israeli airstrike targeted residents gathering in Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city, killing 5 Palestinians and injuring a dozen others.
