Two Israeli settlers have reportedly been injured in a shooting incident in Huwwara town, south of West Bank’s City of Nablus, this evening, September 12th, 2023, according to Hebrew Sources.
Magen David Adom reported that the two settlers were immediately moved to a nearby hospital in 1948-occupied lands and they sustained minor injuries.
Scenes from the incident’s site showed the windows of the car, in which the two Israeli settlers were, were broken.
Israeli occupation forces blocked all entrances to Huwwara town following the incident and declared a high-alert state in the region as the suspected gunman is still at large.
According to Israeli investigations, the gunman is said to have approached on foot and opened fire at a car, in which the two Israeli settlers were inside.
Huwwara has been an epicentre of Israeli settlers’ deadly rampages and attacks as they repeatedly set fire to Palestinian homes and cars.
