Israeli settlers attacked and assaulted Palestinian families in Surif town, northwest of occupied Hebron, on Sunday night, April 2, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli settlers injured two Palestinians after attacking them with stones and sticks.
The sources added that a Palestinian youth, who suffered bruises, was transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in occupied Hebron.
In addition, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds in the area, preventing them from grazing their sheep.
Israeli settlers from the Beit Ein settlement, constructed on the Surif lands, routinely attack Palestinian families and their properties.
A recent UN report indicated that the number of Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank had grown from 520,000 to over 700,000 from 2012 to 2022.
The report also added that 3,372 violent incidents by settlers were verified during the past decade, which resulted in the injury of 1,222 Palestinians.
