Two Palestinians were killed and others were seriously injured this morning in mysterious parallel crimes in 1948-occupied territories.
29-year-old Azmi Al-Shamali was killed and two others were seriously wounded in a shooting incident in Al-Ramla’s neighbourhood of Al-Jawraish. 17-year-old Omar Mara’ana was also killed in a separate crime committed in the Al-Faridis area in the occupied city of Haifa.
Footage taken in Al-Faradis documented the moment unknown persons shot at the slain boy Omer Mara’ans while on his bicycle trying to flee the place. The boy was sustaining serious injuries when he was moved to Hilel Yafa Hospital in Al-Khudayra city, where medical staff subsequently confirmed his death.
Injuries from the Al-Ramla incident were taken to Asaf Harofa Hospital, where one of them, Azmi Al-Shamali, succumbed to his wounds following several attempts to resuscitate his heart. Others who were injured, during the incident, were reported seriously. Nearby the murder’s site was found a vehicle caught on fire and suspected of having been used to carry out the crime.
Asaf Harofa Hospital said it had received three injuries, one succumbed to his wounds immediately, while the other two were in serious condition still under observation.
Magen David Adom’s medical staff also reported that it had provided first aid and a recovery operation for a critically injured person, and cured another serious case.
Israeli occupation police said it reached the crime scene immediately and is now conducting a manhunt in a bid to find the perpetrators.
Who’s to Blame?
The areas in which the two incidents took place are under Israeli occupation control. Absent deterrents of Israeli police vividly open the apatite of the perpetrators to commit more and more crimes, which bring only destabilization and insecurity.
This comes amidst the criminals’ sense of impunity linked to the crimes of usury and the black market. Any possibility of two-state solutions would be a dream for officials who promote this illusional idea regardless of zooming in on such acts.
Organized crimes, including shooting and Freud, have alarmingly soared in the 1948-occupied societies on a daily basis, with accusations directed towards the Israeli security service of being supportive and complicit with the criminal gangs, contributing to the rise of crimes as which stand as an immediate catalyst to the dismantling of these societies.
Not First of its Kind!
Since the start of 2023, there have been 165 murder victims, including 9 women, by unknown persons in 1948-occupied territories, Palestinian sources reported.
On September 2nd, 2023, Sheikh Sami Abdul Latif was killed in front of the Al-Quba mosque in Kafr Qara’ following a reported shooting crime, which targeted Sheikh Abdul Latif while leaving a funeral house. At first, he was severely injured then he was proclaimed dead.
On July 30th, 2023, a shooting attack occurred in the occupied Sakhnin city, injuring four persons, including a critical injury. Following the crime, confrontations broke out between Palestinian citizens and the occupation forces.
Dozens of Palestinian groups protested the rising rates of mysterious crimes in the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories, yet they were always met with sheer disregard and deafening silence.
