Israeli authorities bulldoze lands belonging to endowments near Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, Wednesday, vehicles belonging to the "Nature Authority" of the Israeli occupation stormed a land belonging to the Islamic Endowments in the Al-Sawwana neighborhood in the center of occupied Jerusalem and began bulldozing work inside it.

Jerusalem sources reported that the land is at the Wadi Al-Joz junction, next to a house for the Al-Jallad family, in an area close to the eastern wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jerusalemites warned of the Israeli occupation's plans targeting the area by preparing it for settlers' incursions and then controlling it.

Israeli occupation is trying to impose radical changes on the landmarks of the holy city, as an occupation policy to implement plans for annexation and Judaization.

Al-Suwaneh neighborhood is the only residential neighborhood located on the western slope of the Mount of Olives.

The Settlement Construction Supervision Committee revealed that it will announce tenders to start building settlement units within the 23185 plan, within weeks.
