Israeli forces execute Palestinian woman in Jerusalem

Days of Palestine - Jerusalem

A Palestinian woman Saturday evening was executed after she was shot by the Israeli occupation soldiers while crossing the "Qalandia" military checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses stated that the Israeli occupation forces killed the woman by shooting her directly, and prevented ambulance crews from reaching her despite her injury for a long time, and kept her lying on the ground bleeding.

Israeli occupation forces claimed that the woman tried to carry out a stabbing attack, noting that she is a 28-year-old resident of Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho.

Earlier, the Israeli police said in a statement, "A suspect carrying a knife arrived a short time ago at the Qalandia checkpoint, and a guard fired at her and wounded her."
