Rep. Mark Pocan: It's not difficult to condemn the murder of Palestinian children

Days of Palestine - Washington

Mark Pocan,  an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. Representative from Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district since 2013, Tuesday commented on a Tweet by Ilhan Omar that it should not be this difficult to condemn the murder of Palestinian children.

This came after Ilhan Omar tweeted that Palestinian children deserve advocates for their humanity, safety, and security. No exceptions.

The Israeli occupation military has continued its bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday, targeting several areas in the enclave.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said at least 32 Palestinians – including 10 children – were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since late on Monday.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of air raids on various areas in the besieged enclave that started with fatal strikes in the northern city of Beit Hanun.

Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza had fired a barrage of rockets at Israeli targets earlier on Monday in retaliation to the Israeli attacks on the Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied East Jerusalem over the past few days.
