Days of Palestine - Gaza

Israeli warplanes destroyed Tuesday two factories and a company during their aerial strikes on the Gaza Strip that have been ongoing for the second day in a row.

The Palestinian Ministry of National Economy said in a statement that the bombing hit the Abu Asr ice factory near the Kuwait roundabout in the Zaytoun neighborhood, the Abu Al Khair factory, east of Jabalia, and the Hamada ceramic company, all in Gaza City.

The ministry condemned the targeting of factories and economic establishments in the Strip, stressing that the Israeli occupation deliberately targets factories to destroy the economic infrastructure in the beleaguered enclave.

The Israeli occupation's destruction of factories and economic facilities caused dozens of workers to lose their jobs, the ministry added.

It called on the international community to provide protection for economic facilities and to block the occupation from targeting industrial areas.

Meanwhile, the ministry mourned the martyrs of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip due to the continuous Israeli bombing and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.

It called on the world to intervene urgently and immediately to stop the war against the innocent citizens of besieged Gaza.
