Mishaal makes intensive International contacts over Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa

Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal said he started intensive contacts with several international parties to rally action against Israel’s aggressive practices in Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque.

In press remarks on Friday night, Mishaal called on the Palestinian people at home to start an all-out uprising for the holy city and urged the resistance in Gaza to curb Israel’s aggression.

“What the Jerusalem people are doing is heroism and they are fighting a national battle,” the Hamas official said, describing Israel’s desecration of the Aqsa Mosque as “a very serious issue.”

“Tonight, I made many urgent contacts with international institutions and bodies to declare our rejection of what is happening in Jerusalem and voice our full solidarity with its steadfast people,” he said.
