Israeli forces attack Christians in Jerusalem, prevent them from reaching Church

Israeli security forces Saturday attacked dozens of Christian worshipers at Bab Al-Jadid and inside the alleys of the Old City, near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in occupied East Jerusalem during their attempt to reach the church to celebrate the "Sabbath of Light" feast.

Local sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces attacked Christian worshipers at Bab Al-Jadid in occupied Jerusalem, and prevented hundreds of people from reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

They added that the Israeli occupation police set up military checkpoints in the vicinity of the Old City, as well.

Israeli activists and websites circulated video clips documenting the heavy security deployment of Israeli occupation security forces in the city of Jerusalem, and the Israeli police intercepting the path of Palestinian Christians wishing to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
