Palestinian prisoner enters his 19th year in Israeli prisons

The prisoner, Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Jalamna, from Jenin, entered his 19th year in the Israeli occupation prisons today.

Montaser Samour, director of the prisoner club in Jenin, said that the occupation forces arrested the prisoner Jalamna in 2002, and sentenced him to 20 years imprisonment.

According to Palestinian estimates, there are 4,400 Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, including 39 women and 155 children, and around 350 being held under Israel’s administrative detention policy, which allows holding Palestinians without charge or trial.
