Settlers incite to attack Palestinians with offensive weapons

Jewish settlers today, Thursday incited to attack Palestinian citizens of occupied Jerusalem, and to harass them, using offensive weapons and combat tools

The right-wing "Lihava" organization announced the organization of a demonstration and march in the Old City area today, to "defend Jewish honor."

The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" revealed that Jewish extremists roam the city streets in the evening hours, daily, and attack Palestinian passersby with beating, stones, and tear gas, amid their chants calling for "death to the Arabs."

Meanwhile, the Hebrew newspaper, Yediot Aharonot, said: “A group of Jewish extremists is planning to reach the Triangle in the center of the city in Jerusalem (known as“ Zion Square ”), Safra Square and Jaffa Street this Thursday evening, equipped with offensive weapons and combat tools.”

Last night, the occupied city of Jerusalem witnessed clashes between Jerusalemite citizens on one side and settlers and the occupation forces on the other hand, which led to lightly wounding two Palestinian young men.

Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the Israeli occupation police assaulted worshipers after performing Tarawih prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented the presence of Jerusalemite citizens in the Bab al-Amoud area.
