Three Palestinian detainees enter new years in Israeli prisons

Three prisoners on Thursday from Jenin entered their 20th year in the Israeli occupation prisons.

The director of the prisoner club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, said that the prisoners are: Hassan Ratib Yunus Awais from the Jenin camp, and he is the brother of the prisoner Abdul Karim Awais, who has been sentenced for life, and Muhannad Khaled Ibrahim Sheikh Ibrahim from the town of Kafr Ra'i, who is sentenced to 24 years in prison. Fadi Muhammad Yusef Abu Ali, from the town of Silat al-Dhahr, was sentenced to 20 years.

According to Palestinian estimates, there are 4,400 Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, including 39 women and 155 children, and around 350 being held under Israel’s administrative detention policy, which allows holding Palestinians without charge or trial.
