Days of Palestine - Jerusalem
Israeli occupation authorities today forced a Palestinian to demolish his own house in the neighborhood of al-Isawiya in occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of unlicensed building.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation authorities forced the Palestinian citizen, Rajai Talal Attia to demolish his home in the school's neighborhood of the town of Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.
According to a report by the Jerusalem Center for Studies of Israeli and Palestinian Affairs, during February of this year, the occupation courts notified of the demolition of dozens of residential and commercial establishments in Jerusalem, as part of the occupation policy aimed at displacing the Palestinians from their homes.
Using the pretext of illegal building, Israel demolishes houses on a regular basis to restrict Palestinian expansion in occupied Jerusalem.
