Bahar calls on Algerian parliament to enactment a law criminalizing normalization

Dr. Ahmed Bahar, Acting Speaker of the Legislative Council, on Sunday praised the efforts and positions of the Algerian presidency, parliament, government, and people, which support the just Palestinian cause and defend Palestinian rights, and reject normalization with the Israeli occupation.

Dr. Bahar, in a message sent to the President of the Algerian People's National Assembly, Slimane Shanine, stated that these courageous Algerian stances rejecting all forms of normalization with Israeli occupation express the authenticity of the brotherly Algerian people and their historical positions in supporting the Palestinian people, entrusting their rights and strengthening their steadfastness on their holy land.

He explained that the Palestinian Legislative Council is following up the parliamentary efforts to present a draft law providing for the criminalization of normalization with the Israeli occupation, stressing that these parliamentary efforts are consistent with the role, status, and historical and fraternal relations between the Palestinian and Algerian peoples.

Dr. Bahar called the Algerian Parliament to adopt the will of the brotherly Algerian people who reject normalization, and to accelerate the enactment of a law criminalizing normalization with the Israeli occupation under any circumstances.

He affirmed that Algeria is the country of a million martyrs. The blessings of aid and support for Jerusalem and Palestine will remain in various regional and international forums in light of projects and plans that aim to liquidate the just Palestinian cause.
