Israeli settlers attack Palestinian farmers in Ramallah

Three Palestinian civilians were injured on Thursday as Israeli settlers attacked them in Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah.

Local sources stated that settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, beat and threw stones at three citizens while they were plowing their lands that were threatened with seizure in favor of settlements' expansion.

It indicated that the three injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Settlers in the West Bank enjoy a climate of impunity, which has resulted in an escalation in both the level of violence and the frequency of attacks on Palestinians. In the past two years, the number of settler attacks against Palestinians has increased by over 144 per cent.
