Israeli authorities approve the seizure of 1008 dunums of Palestinian lands

The Israeli occupation authorities approved a new settlement plan to seize the lands of citizens in the eastern Qalqilya governorate, in favor of settlement construction.

The Governor of Qalqilya, Rafie Rawajbah said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation authorities had approved a decision to seize 1008 dunams of citizens' lands near the “Fei Menashe” settlement, which was built on the lands of the towns of Azzun, Kafr Thulth, and Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilya.

Rawajbah added that the approval of the seizure is part of the new plan issued on January 22 last year, which provides for the construction of 1,406 new settlement units, in areas known as Wadi Asla, Dhur al-Manaf, Qatayin al-Sahl and al-Mafiq.
