Settlers attack elderly man and his son near Bethlehem

Israeli settlers assaulted an elderly Palestinian man and his son, today, in Shushhala village, south of Al-Khader town, in Bethlehem.

Muhannad Salah, a local resident, told WAFA that settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Eliezer assaulted Fadel Hamdan, a man in his 70s, as he confronted them for stealing an olive harvest which belongs to local Palestinian villages.

"He is repeatedly attacked by the occupation forces and settlers, with the aim of forcing the family to leave their lands in a move aimed at seizing them," Salah said in a statement received by WAFA.
