Israeli forces attack Palestinians protesting Pompeo’s tour of West Bank settlement

At least four Palestinians suffocated by tear gas as Israeli forces attacked a protest organized against US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s expected tour of an illegal Israeli settlement on the outskirts of Jabal al-Tawil in al-Bireh city, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Palestinians today organized a mass protest against US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s expected tour visit to the Psagot Winery, part of the Israeli colonial settlement of Psagot, established on stolen Palestinian land in Jabal al-Tawil, just outside the West Bank city of al-Bireh.

Forces attacked protesters with tear gas canisters, causing at least four Palestinians to suffocate.
