"The US Secretary of State’s plans to visit settlements in the West Bank and occupied Golan Heights is an aggression against the Palestinian people and Arab and Islamic Ummah," said the Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem.

In a press release on Saturday, Qasem stressed that this visit highlights the Trump administration's determination to continue implementing the deal of the century in the last days in office.

This demeanour with the Palestinian people is an example of a bullying policy adopted by the Trump administration against the Palestinian people, the Hamas spokesperson added.

He deemed the US policy a violation of international law and conventions that only favours of the Israeli right-wing, stressing that the Trump administration’s demeanour is humiliating for the Palestinians.

The Israeli and US stances confirm that the dangers facing the Palestinian issue are increasing and this pushes all the Palestinians to restructure the Palestinian home, Qasem concluded.
