Hamas strongly condemns Sudan-Israeli occupation normalisation agreement

Days of Palestine - Gaza

The Palestinian people, Arab and Islamic nations, and the free people of the world have been shocked by Sudan’s resolve to normalise ties with the Israeli occupation.

Hamas movement in a statement on Friday strongly condemns and expresses its outrage over the humiliating normalisation deal with the Israeli occupation. It affirmed that Sudan loses its position as a leading Arab and Islamic country by agreeing to sign this deal.

Meanwhile, Hamas calls on the Sudanese people to express rejection of this inglorious agreement that won’t result in stability and prosperity but rather chaos, deterioration, and disgrace. Moreover, the agreement will enhance the Israeli hegemony in the region and will not serve the interests of Arab and Islamic nations. It will also lead to disputes and upheavals, especially inside Sudan.

Today Hamas calls on Arab nations to fight off all forms of normalisation and denounce the establishment of any diplomatic relations with the Israeli occupation.

"We put our faith in the peoples of the Ummah who will not be plunged into normalisation, as some regimes and governments have done. The peoples will remain aware of and adhere to the issue of Palestine, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque until liberation and independence," Hamas statement added.
