Gaza-based activists launch a Twitter storm on the occasion of the International Youth Day

The International Youth Day, 12 August, was first designated by the UN General Assembly in 1999. This Day offers a chance to raise awareness and draw attention to issues surronding youth around the world.

Palestinian activists in the besieged Gaza Strip have decided to commemorate this special day to draw atttention to the Palestinian youth who have been living under the Israeli colonization for decades.

They urge you to take action and participate in the Twitter storm tongint at 7.00 PM (Jerusalem time), using the following hashtags: #InternationalYouthDay & #PalestinianYouth.
