Israeli occupation forces released yesterday the Palestinian detainee Mahmoud Maali from the occupied city of Ramallah, after spending 12 months behind bars.
Maali was detained on April 12 last year after Israeli occupation forces raided and searched his house in the town of Deir Jarir, destroying its contents and assaulting a number of his family. He was transferred to the Ofer investigation for two weeks.
After 6 months, the Ofer Court sentenced him for a year, in addition to a fine of 2000 NIS.
From their part, the people of Deir Jarir town welcomed Maali and raised the Palestinian flags, amid songs and chants in support of the detainees and the resistance.
