The Palestinian detainee, Mahmoud Arda, 47 years old, from the town of Arrabeh in occupied Jenin entered Wednesday, 21 September 2022 his 27th year in the Israeli occupation jails.
Al-Ardah is one of the six Palestinian prisoners who took their freedom from Gilboa prison in September 2021 before the Israeli occupation re-arrested them days later.
Al-Ardah was arrested on 21 September 1996, and sentenced to a life sentence in addition to 15 years.
This arrest was not the first, Mahmoud was arrested in 1992 and spent 41 months in the Israeli occupation prisons.
In Al-Ardah’s latest trial, the Israeli occupation court issued an additional 5-year prison sentence and a fine of 5000 shekels to the Palestinian prisoner Mahmoud and his fellow prisoners who took their freedom through a tunnel dug in Gilboa prison.
