Days of Palestine – Hebron
Israeli settlers of "Mitzpe Yair" and "Beit Yattir" and "Sons of Yaqoub Dalia", who were sitting on Palestinian lands southeast of Yatta, south of Hebron Saturday attack Palestinian farmers in Masafer Yatta, under the protection of the occupation forces.
The coordinator of the Popular Committees for Resisting the Wall and Settlement in South Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, said that a number of these settlers had beaten unarmed farmers from the Nawajaa family near the village of "Umm Lakhos", trying to prevent them from plowing their lands, which caused a fistfight and injured a number of farmers.
Al-Jabour appealed to human rights and international bodies to immediately intervene to put an end to the settler orgy that continues under the protect the occupation forces.
It is noteworthy that the settlers are constantly attacking the owners of these lands, uprooting and stealing dozens of olive trees, in an attempt to displace them in order to expand the aforementioned settlements.
