The Israeli occupation authorities closed, today, the investigation file by shooting the child Malik Issa, from Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem, last February, causing him to lose his eye.
According to Eyewitnesses, Malik had just gotten off a school bus in the Issawiya neighborhood when Israeli police opened fire and shot Issa in the face. He will not regain vision in his left eye despite surgery.
Eyewitnesses added that there were no violent protests or stones being thrown when Israeli forces started firing.
It is worth mentioning that Al- Issawiya town is subjected to almost daily arrests and raids, which resulted in the death of a young man, injuring and arrest of hundreds, in addition to the demolition of homes, and the issuance of violations of commercial stores and vehicles.
