A center specialized in following on social media networks, documented 29 violations by the administrations of social media sites against Palestinian content during last November.

Sada Social Center documented the continuation of violations campaigns on social media sites against the Palestinian narratives during November.

The Center monitored 29 violations where 21 of them were committed by Facebook, 7 by Twitter, and one by Instagram.

The main violations were the deletion 86 official pages and media agencies, as well as accounts of Palestinian and Arab activists, on the pretext of violating the standards of service.

On October 29, activists launched the Twitter campaign with the hashtag "TwitterCensorsPalestine" to protest the policies of social media administrations, and their participation in the increasing restrictions on Palestinian content.

In addition, the Center considered that the appointment of "Janet Napolitano" to the board of directors of the Zoom platform "is a new blow to freedom of opinion and a further tightening of control over the right and freedom of opinion and expression," the director of the center, Iyad Al-Rifai, explains.

Worth mentioning that in Spetember 2020, it was the first time to monitor a violation against Palestinian content by Zoom when they prevented a video conference webinar on their platform organized by the University of San Francisco in which Leila Khaled would participate.

Also, in 2018, the Ministry of Justice of the Israeli occupation announced that the administration of the "Facebook" site responded in 2017 to nearly 85 percent of (Tel Aviv) requests to delete, suspend and provide data on Palestinian content on the social media site.
