The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening arrested a Palestinian youth at a military checkpoint south of Jerusalem for allegedly attempting a stabbing attack.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper claimed that the 30-year-old detainee was carrying a knife and attempted to stab Israeli soldiers at Rahil checkpoint.
No further details were given on the incident.
On Saturday night, five Israeli soldiers were injured in an anti-occupation car-ramming attack carried out by a Palestinian young man near Hizma town north of Jerusalem.
