Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces murdered on Wednesday morning 16-year-old Palestinian outside besieged village of Al-Zawiyeh in West Bank city of Salfit.
At the same incident, the Israeli forces shot and wounded another Palestinian youth, eyewitnesses were present at the time of the shooting said.
One of the eyewitnesses said that he saw two Palestinians lying under Al-Zawiyeh Bridge near an Israeli checkpoint. “They were bleeding,” he said.
“At first, the Israeli occupation forces prevented paramedics from approaching the scene,” the eyewitness said. “Then, they were allowed after one of the youths had passed away.”
Israeli occupation forces claimed that the dead Palestinian attempted to stab Israeli soldiers, but they shot him before approaching them.
A spokeswoman for the Israeli occupation forces claimed that the Israeli soldiers “thwarted” the attack, shooting the Palestinian dead.
Palestinian sources identified the dead boy as 16-year-old Ahmad Yousef Amer.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation forces murdered six Palestinians since Tuesday morning, including a 50-year-old woman.
All of them were murdered over claims that they attempted to kill Israelis.
