United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has informed Israel’s War Attaché in the United States, Major General Hidai Zilberman, of his decision to finally include ‘Israel’ in the blacklist of countries and organizations harming children in warzones.
This list also features groups like ISIS, al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram.
Israel’s extensive efforts to persuade Guterres to avoid this step have failed, according to a report published immediately by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
British Secretary of State for Media Lucy Frazer has abstained from condemning Israel’s massacres against Palestinian children in Gaza.
However, ‘Israel’ will appear on the blacklist set to be released next week in a report distributed to UN Security Council members, with a discussion scheduled for June 26.
Former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan criticized the UN, calling the decision ‘shameful’ on the organization.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the UN’s decision to include ‘Israel’ in a blacklist of countries that inflict harm on children in conflict zones, saying “the UN has put itself today on the blacklist of history, when it joined those who support the Hamas murderers.”
“The IDF is the world’s most moral army, and no preposterous UN decision can change that,” he confirmed ignoring the 15000 children who were killed by his “moral army” in the Gaza enclave.
75% of Gaza victims due to the war were sadly children and women; 15,328, innocent children were murdered by the “moral army”, including 31 who died of famine, marking the highest number of children victims whose lives were claimed due to the violence of war over history, according to international organizations.
Meanwhile, 17,000 children have been living without their parents or one of them, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office.
