Israeli occupation forces IOF detained on Monday, September 26, eight Palestinian worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque coinciding with the settlers’ incursions.
The Palestinian Prisoners Information Office stated that Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians at the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It added that the Israeli forces detained three others in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa and near the Bab Al-Amoud area after assaulting them.
The Office explained that Israeli occupation forces prevented dozens of Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa and attempted at evacuating it from Muslim worshipers, coinciding with the first day of what so-called Jewish holidays.
Hundreds of Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, invaded on Monday morning Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals.
